Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) |

The Adolescent IOP is designed for
adolescents between the ages 12 through 18 who suffer
from various mental health and emotional issues. Each
adolescent receives a full psychiatric evaluation and
clinical assessment. The adolescent treatment team also
assists the individual in his/her transition back into
the school setting. The Adolescent IOP utilizes a
multidisciplinary treatment team of psychiatrists,
certified alcohol and drug counselors, licensed clinical
social workers, licensed professional counselors, and
other mental health professionals. Participants are
often transitioned from Adolescent PHP to Adolescent IOP
to assure continuity of care. Adolescents will
participate in psycho-educational groups, positive
coping and communication skills, conflict resolution
skills, anger management skills, and alcohol and drug
abuse education. Adolescents and their families must
participate in a mandatory multi-family meeting from
5:30 to 7:00 pm every Tuesday. An individualized
treatment plan, discharge plan, and social support
network are created for each individual’s unique needs.
